Experience the Etna grape harvest by picking Carricante grapes with Maria and her family. The tour includes harvesting in the vineyards, visiting the 1900s wine press, traditional grape crushing, and tasting local wines.
The Proposed Experience
Experience the authentic harvest of the ancient vineyard with a blend of grapes: Nerello Mascalese, white and black Minnella, Catarratto, Carricante, Muscatedda, Inzolia, Fragola grape, and harvest from the new Carricante vineyard. Discover the art of winemaking in our historic 1900s wine press and end the day with a tasting of local wines and products from our farm.
Immerse yourself in the most authentic Sicilian tradition by working side by side with Maria and her family, learning secrets passed down through generations. From hand-picking grape clusters to traditional crushing, every gesture has the flavor of history and the beauty of a ritual that renews itself every autumn among the volcanic terraces of Etna-Mare. The day concludes with a convivial moment where you’ll savor the fruits of your labor accompanied by local specialties prepared according to family recipes.

Important Information
- The experience is available from September to October, depending on grape ripening
- It's necessary to wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes for working in the vineyards
- The activity takes place outdoors, layered clothing and a sun hat are recommended
- In case of bad weather, the experience will be postponed or fully refunded
- The experience includes moments of manual work in the fields, not suitable for people with reduced mobility
