An Oasis Born from Love for the Land
The beating heart of Etna-Mare is our farm, lovingly tended by Maria and her children Serena and Umberto. Three hectares of pure biodiversity that extend in a stunning natural amphitheater, composed of small terraces embraced by ancient dry stone walls made of volcanic rock, gently sloping down toward the valley to the beach of Marina di Cottone.
Here, every corner tells a story of love for traditional agriculture: conducted according to strict organic and eco-compatible methods, our estate is a perfect balance between respect for the environment and sustainable productivity. From the orchard to the silvery olive grove, from the orderly vineyard to the shady hazelnut grove, every plant has its place in this harmonious ecosystem where nature dictates its ancient rhythms.
Where Every Plant Tells a Story
Our farm is a Mediterranean Eden where species from around the world coexist, adapted to the unique climate of the Etna slopes. An extraordinary botanical heritage that combines Sicilian tradition and exotic varieties.
The treasures of the orchard: Japanese loquat and exotic feijoa grow alongside persimmons and cherry trees, while ancient apple and pear trees alternate with plums of different varieties. The citrus grove welcomes you with oranges, lemons and mandarins, completed by apricot trees, peach trees and rare varieties like the plum-apricot.
The Mediterranean soul: Centuries-old olive trees stand guard over the new Carricante vineyard from 2024, destined to produce Etna Bianco DOC. Hazelnut trees, chestnuts and walnut trees create shaded areas, while figs and prickly pears complete the Sicilian identity.
The garden of wonders: Majestic palms and ginkgo biloba coexist with pines, strawberry trees and aromatic bay trees. Oak trees dominate the landscape, while the herb garden enchants with thyme, basil, rosemary and mint, creating an explosion of natural fragrances.

The Poetic Awakening
The blossoms of fruit trees transform the entire estate into a sea of pure white. Almond trees, cherry trees and peach trees dress in petals that the wind carries, creating fragrant carpets along the paths to admire a unique spectacle.
The Green Embrace
The lush summer green creates cool oases that offer refuge from the Sicilian heat. The canopies of large trees become dense and protective, while the first fruits finally begin to ripen under the generous sun of Etna.
The Artist's Palette
The warm tones of yellow and red transform the estate into an impressionist painting. It’s harvest season, when every tree offers its fruits and work in the fields takes on the festive rhythm of farming tradition.
The Breathtaking Contrast
When Etna dresses in white snow, the contrast with the deep blue of the sea creates landscapes of rare beauty. And so, even in the season of rest, the farm maintains its charm, preparing for the new cycle to come.

Three Independent Retreats in the Heart of the Etna Countryside
Three independent apartments, recently renovated in respect of Sicilian tradition, welcome you as authentic rural homes. Each with its privileged view – from the Ionian Sea to the Etna hills, from terraced vineyards to ancient olive trees – and equipped with a kitchen to enjoy products from our organic garden.
The multi-level layout ensures privacy and tranquility, while the common panoramic terraces become the perfect place to admire Etna and the sea in a single glance.
